Hazel Dell Christian Church was recently selected to participate in Compassion International's new “Church to Church” partnership program with Deliverance Church in Kigungu, Uganda.  Because of its strong commitment to reach the people of Kigungu with the love of Christ, Deliverance Church serves as a host site for a Compassion Child Development Project. The church provides the children with weekly lessons on basic life skills, tutoring, Bible teaching and Scripture memorization, plus a hot meal. These children then return to their (often) non-believing homes, sharing what they have learned with their families.  Deliverance Church is making an impact in its community!

OUR involvement in this partnership means that you can provide for the children in Kigungu by enrolling as a Compassion sponsor. We will also continue sending mission teams to put "flesh" on this relationship, joining Deliverance Church in its efforts to reach the community for Christ.  As part of a HDCC team, a sponsor would also have the opportunity to meet his or her sponsored child.
