Someone has said, "The church that ceases to be missionary can no longer be evangelistic.  The church that ceases to be evangelistic can no longer be evangelical.  The church that ceases to be evangelical may well doubt whether it is Christian."

The power of the church at the home base is inseparably linked with the zeal of the church for the ends of the earth.  Therefore, a church must have a sense of a world mission if it is to realize its destiny as a church.

The Missions Ministry is designed to ensure that HDCC maintains a vibrant missions program that is devoted to the proclamation of the Gospel.  The Missions Leadership Team is responsible for promoting the awareness of missions throughout the congregation, encouraging and supporting our missionaries (physically, emotionally, and spiritually,) and maintaining a close working relationship, with our missions partners.
